Luton Sexual Health provides services Monday to Saturday and can be accessed via phone and website. Telephone consultations can be booked over the phone and via the website. Same day appointments available if needed after assessment. Several clinics run each day – including some during the early evening. U18s clinic Thursdays 4-7pm. Free and confidential Sexual Health & Contraception service. Open to anyone of any age from anywhere.
Services available:
• Testing, diagnosis & treatment of all sexually-transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV, for clients and their sexual partners.
• Assessment, treatment & management of genital symptoms.
• Ongoing HIV Positive medical management, counselling & support.
• Comprehensive contraception – including coils & implants.
• Emergency contraception – including coil insertion.
• Impartial unplanned pregnancy advice.
• Termination of pregnancy (abortion) referral.
• Post Exposure Prophylaxis Sexual Exposure (PEPSE).
• Sexual Health & Contraceptive advice, information & education.
• HIV Health & Wellbeing Advisor for people who are living with HIV, their partners or carers.
• HIV Specialist Pharmacist.
• Outreach worker for young people.
• Outreach worker for LGBT+
• Outreach Worker for sexual exploitation.
• Outreach Worker for SEND.
• Rape/Sexual Assault/Sexual Abuse/Sexual Exploitation support.
• Psychosexual Counselling.
• Short term counselling post Sexual Assault/new HIV diagnosis etc.
• Erectile dysfunction support.
• Hepatitis B screening & vaccination as appropriate.
• Free condoms to registered clinic attendees.
